Kubel Treffen East is a family friendly event for Volkswagen enthusiasts who own or love the classic Volkswagen Thing. This year we are celebrating the 50 year history of the Volkswagen Type 181.

Event check in started Friday afternoon. Saturday's Thing-only car show included parts vendors, swap meet, VW related games and activities, and lots of chatting with like-minded VW drivers. On Sunday a leisurely cruise finished out the weekend.

This year's Kubel Treffen East was held at the Hampton Inn & Suites conveniently located right off I-40 near Winston-Salem, NC.
